SHOW DAY SCHEDULE

Hello everyone -   I know you’d like to plan ahead for the big day – March 22nd – so here is the schedule for that afternoon/evening:

 

 

ARRIVE WITH:

·        Casual clothes on so you can help around the place (may also want a change of clothes for afterglow)

·        Voice warmed-up (sirens, bubbles, humming, etc.)

·        Stage makeup already applied  (only time to touch up later) – including false eyelashes as shown in makeup list sent recently.  Do not wait until you get there to apply your lashes.  We’ll all be busy and focused on performing.

·        Hair already fixed (can touch up later)

·        Unscented products (deodorant, hairspray, lotions, perfumes, etc)

·        Costumes for both halves

o   1st Half – Black & silver combinations, rhinestones, etc.  (check yours with costume chair)

o   2nd Half – New costume: pants, jacket, blouse.  Wear your own silver rhinestone earrings

·        Everyone wear all-in-one undergarments for smooth clothing line (no bulging)

 

BRING:

·        Makeup mirrors

·        Water

·        Makeup kit (for touchups)

·        Both costumes (as noted above)

 

 

SHOW DAY SCHEDULE

·        4:00 – 5:00    Arrive, get clothes in OSC room, decorations, tables in lobby, sound/light check, quartets do sound checks

o   4:30     Quartet #1 (UpBeat!)

o   4:40     Quartet #2 (Diamond Dames)

o   4:50     Quartet #3  (Touche’)

 

·        5:00 – 6:00      On stage for brief vocal warmups (vocalize enroute) – rehearse the show, run thru cues with lighting, MC work, etc. 

 

·        6:00 – 6:30      Change clothes, touch up hair and makeup

 

·        6:30 – 7:00      Doors open  (OSC members stay focused on the performance – delete selling raffle tickets, watching tables, handing out programs, etc. to non-members!!)

 

·        7:00 – SHOW TIME!

 

·        9:00 – Show ends, greet audience, cleanup, go to afterglow

 

·        10:00 – 12:00 – Afterglow at Pietro’s Pizza (Hawthorne & Market), where you’ll get to hear TOUCHE’ up close and personal – they are so down-to-earth but very powerful singers!

Now let’s get out there and sell tickets to everyone in Salem!  Let’s show our community how awesome we are!
