RHYTHMIC / PHYSICAL WARMUPS

WE NEED YOU to help start every rehearsal in a positive and fun way that helps us build our singing skills!   Yes, you can do this by volunteering to lead the chorus in a 5-minute rhythmic exercise! 
 
Help us build our stamina, get our hearts pumping and oxygen flowing, have fun with lots of different types of music to dance to, and learn how to move as a unit!
 
Laurie LaBrasseur, Judy Gobat, and Klea Ford have been taking turns doing this, but I know there are more of you who could put together an occasional routine.  It's lots of fun to see different people in front of the chorus, so I'm putting the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board at the Information Station and you can sign up for the weeks that work for you. 
 
Here's all you need to do:
 
PICK A SONG  totally your choice - jazz, soft rock, bluegrass, barbershop, classical, anything!
WORK OUT A ROUTINE  practice it so you are comfortable leading it. 
6:50 - GET YOUR CD INTO THE BOOMBOX  and have someone start herding our cats to the risers.
7:00 - GO !  People will hear the music, finish their conversations, and come running so they don't miss the fun!
