ADVANCE !!!

April 18-19 is another very special time for OSC to grow, bond, giggle, perform, and ADVANCE our skills in every way.   Dede Nibler will help us polish our Harmony Classic package, we're also going to have a great makeup demonstration by Sherry Anderson and her models, we'll get to put on the wigs and put out the props, and then the wonderful silliness of fun & games on Saturday night.  It's what we call a "bonding" experience as it brings us closer as women. 
 
Please be sure to read to the bottom of this post for information on what to bring, plus a few reminders.    
 
Here's the general schedule (but keep flexible):

8:00Setup, visit, breakfast by Elks, coffee, juice, etc.
9:00Warmups - rhythmic and vocal
9:30Fabulous coaching
12:00Lunch break (choices to Margie)
1:00Just-for-fun activity
1:15Change into cat wigs / get out props
1:30Coaching continues
5:00Dinner break  (Lasagna)
6:00Makeup Class in the "Nest"
7:00Coaching continues
8:00Fun / Games / Talent / Bonding / Laughing
9:00Home - rest - ready for Sunday
TIMESUNDAY
8:00Coffee, juice, etc. (bring your own)
9:00Warmups
9:30Putting it all together
12:00Lunch break (choices to Margie)
1:00Bond …. Spirit Bond
1:30Coaching continues
3:30Wrap-up
4:00Hugs, love, dinner (on your own), and head home
 
WHAT TO BRING:
  • Whatever cat costume pieces you have
  • Cat wigs
  • Comfortable shoes 
  • Games for groups
  • Snacks
  • Water
  • Makeup Mirrors (if you are one of Sherry Anderson's models)
  • Props - whatever is available
 
REMINDERS:
  • Keep items off the risers - it's a safety issue
  • Keep talking to a minimum (whisper if absolutely necessary)
  • Do whatever the coach says - be daring!
  • Name badges are helpful
  • Show your eagerness and excitement by being on the risers on time (or early)
  • Make sure you tell Margie Talley your meal choices
  • Margie Talley is taking food orders for the meals that the Elks is providing so contact if you didn't already.
  • If you live more than 30 minutes away, you may want to arrange for overnight lodging on Saturday so you don't have to drive back-n-forth. 
 
 
I CAN'T WAIT TO SPEND THE WEEKEND WITH SOME OF MY FAVORITE WOMEN IN THE WHOLE WORLD!
