Just one rehearsal left before we all leave for a really fun weekend in Spokane.  We know that we'll perform well and we know we are singing better each week.  We know we have no control over how the judges will score us, or how we will compare with the other competitors who perform.  We only know that we are ready to do our very best - and that is such an indescribably wonderful feeling.  It's really not about competing (although we all know that we love those medals we've earned thus far) --- it's really about PERFORMING and showing our tremendous spirit, our love for the music, the art form, and each other.

There are still a few things we need to address at this next rehearsal - there will always be something "more" to work on - and that's why we continue to improve each week, each month, each year.  The personal commitment and energy in this chorus is noticeable and remarkable, and I hope you each cherish it as much as I do.  The honor of leading you each week is something that is so dear to me that I cannot even find words for it.

I love you all - and look forward to seeing you again on Thursday!
